Hello, my name is Ron and I am the principle of Woofs Unleashed, this is my dog Bo (aka Bofus or BOBO).
In 2012, I adopted this gentle giant with a heart of gold. Bo’s mom was a Bull Mastiff/American Bulldog and his dad was a Standard Poodle.

The concept behind Woofs Unleashed was created over the many years I spent raising dogs and many other animals; when Bo was a pup he needed constant attention and stimulation, he had enormous pent up energy and our 3-4 leash walks per day were still not enough for him.
I started walking him in the surrounding woods of my neighbourhood and within a couple days it was obvious that I had found the solution.
Bo was getting a lot of exercise & meeting other neighbourhood dogs to play with; I found that the exercise, stimulation and socialization were exactly what he needed to make him relaxed & overall happy. After all, A Good Dog Is A Tired dog!!

Woofs Unleashed specializes in Woodland walks both on or off leash. Servicing York Region & surrounding areas; Contact me to setup a free meet & greet. I will come to your home to meet your woof and discuss your needs.

Woofs Unleashed is Fully Insured & I also have extensive pet first aid & CPR training.

Group Woodland Walks

(approximately 1 hour)

Dog Walking Adventures:
In a small group, I will lead & closely supervise as we explore the forest trails of York Region. Your dog will be matched with the best members of my Woof Squad based on their overall compatibility. Dogs will get the benefit of lots of exercise and plenty of time to play & socialize with their furry friends, all in a forest setting which provides relief from the different weather patterns that we experience. Our forests provide plenty of shade for those hot & sunny summer days and tree coverage on those not so sunny, rainy days. Wintertime is a blast as well, as your dogs will frolic through the snowy trails. I walk 5 days per week (Mon-Fri) rain or shine in any weather from -40c to 40c and will make sure your dog is safe in all conditions.

$40 + hst per walk

* Discount applied for clients enrolled in the monthly pre-payment plan & for households with multiple dogs.
* Weekends and Statutory Holidays can be requested based on availability; a 50% additional charge will be applied.

Private Dog walks

Sometimes your dog just isn’t into the social scene and prefers to be walked alone.

$50 + hst per 1/2 hour walk

Home Drop-in Visits

I will drop-in to your home to feed, walk and/or administer medications, based on your pets needs whether they are puppies, elderly or recovering from an injury.

I also have experience with many other pets including cats, fish, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians.

Rates start at $50 + hst and will vary depending on your pets needs and time required per visit.

Home-Style Boarding

All dogs will be welcomed into my home to live as one of my family members. I will accommodate based on their needs so that they feel at ease while you are away.

BOARDING

$75 + hst (per 24-hour period)

 

DAYCARE

$55 + hst (up to 8-hour full day)

* Dogs need to be friendly towards other dogs and get along with children as they will be free to roam in my home.
* Discount will be provided for stays longer than 10 nights.
* Daycare rates will be applied in addition to the boarding rate for stays exceeding the 24 hour boarding period.

What's Included

  • Book a free meet & greet; I will visit your home so we can get to know each-other, review all the details and sign all the paperwork, Then you are good to go!
  • I will pickup your woof from your home and they will be out for anywhere between 1-4 hours and will get a minimum of 45 minutes on the trail.
  • We will visit a local forest trail along with a small group from my Woof Squad.
  • Woofs will get plenty of exercise, and will be given time to rest and drink water.
  • Special care will be taken depending on the weather conditions and your dog’s needs, to ensure we are all safe.

How We're Different

  • No dog parks.
  • I usually visit less busy trails so my pack plays with Woof Squad members only for the most part; this allows me to control the group dynamic, as I can pick the members based on their compatibility.

Referral Program! For each person you refer you will get $30 to be used for future service appointments. There are a few rules to follow:

  1. You must be a current client with a completed booking
  2. The person you refer must live in my service area
  3. The referred person must state your name in their initial contact with us
  4. The referred person must complete a booking with a minimum of 5 walks or 3 night boarding

And once that booking is complete, you will get a non-refundable $30 credit in your account to be used toward future bookings! There is no limit to the number of referrals you provide, as long as the referral program is running.
